C ,,, 0 Years from Now Essay Sample Currently, I am 20 years old and keep thinking about what I will be twenty years from now. I have conviction that I will have the following qualities when I am 40 years. First, after twenty years elapse from now, my international studies will be over. This implies that I will be working and pursuing other significant activities that interest me. I will be the CEO of some company and will be earning millions. The fact that I will be single will not prevent me from being the happiest person ever. It is most likely that the current technology will be obsolete when I am forty. I will probably have several grandchildren and old children. These children will be surprised that I do not understand the technology at that time. My extended family will always enjoy my company. I will wish to learn the latest technological developments at that time. My eyesight will probably be poor and will have huge spectacles on. The spectacles could make me appear older than I will be about that time I will be forty. When I will be 40, I will spent most of my time in telling people about the life I lives as a teenage and a young adult. Most of my narrations will include the experience I would have had in my international study. If I return to my home country, people are likely to consider me as a unique person. The unique perception that I get from people could make me develop undesirable characters. I will insist that one of my children keeps at least one pet and names the same pet after me. I will take frequent flights from Kuwait to the US to meet old friends because the flight takes a sheer 17 hours. After these international studies, I have several opportunities of getting into decent employment. At forty, I could be on my third and probably last job. I would have adequate experience that would make me an expert in most activities at my work places. Young people will admire my competence at work and would wish to have me as their friends. I will be choosy in picking youthful people to be my friends. I will also avoid very old company to maintain my middle-age image. At 40, I will have several memories that will make me extremely wise in all the decisions I will be making. I will change my entire wardrobe to suit the expectation of my society at that time. If that society will expect me to adorn certain fashion fads, I will adhere to that. This does not suggest that I will abandon my current clutch bags. I will always carry them regardless of the respective fashion statements at that time. I will also ensure that I have the bags in multiple colors for them to be noticeable to my friends. The change in time will not allow me to be as aggressive as I am currently. I will develop an extremely introverted culture that could make people call me nasty names. The introverted character is significant in learning what the respective thoughts of my children. I will be an amazing parent who will not let children make similar mistakes to mine. ,,, Wow, itââ¬â¢s weird picturing yourself twenty years in the future, but I love making goals for myself. First off, my job has to be the right one for me. I was thinking about managing hotels, like the Hilton, hotels that are all around the world. I want to be able to travel and see them in person. The money figure doesnââ¬â¢t really matter to me. I just want to have the job that I love, so that it wonââ¬â¢t really be like working. Secondly, I want a marriage that will last forever. Looks arenââ¬â¢t really important to me. I want to have a big family, maybe four kids, no more than six. With a big family comes a big house. I donââ¬â¢t want a mansion, but I want a house that feels like home to me, something that I can actually claim as my own. Nothing to flashy, so people think that I have a lot of money, just something that I will feel comfortable with. With a house, you must be able to have a car. I want one minivan, and two really nice cars. Like I said about the house nothing to flashy, but something I am comfortable with in my own skin. One major thing that I know I will worry about in the future is my bank account. The main reason why I donââ¬â¢t want anything that is too flashy is because it can be taken away at any time or destroyed. That is why I want to have nice things, but also have a nice bank account, so that I know that in the future, if I need anything or just in case of an emergency, I have something that I can fall back on. Lastly I want a good health. At eighteen, I am not the healthiest person in the world. But I know I can work on it. With time, I can be a very healthy 38 year old man, with four to six children, an amazing wife, a nice size house, with the cars that I can dream about, and I canââ¬â¢t forget about the family dog. I had a daschund when I was younger name Rufus, and I think my children would love one as well. â⬠¦Ã¢â¬ ¦.. ,,, 20 Years From Now As an established engineer with a doctorate degree from a prestigious university, I plan to have two kids and a perfect wife. My law career will be reaching its peak, and I will be the most prestigious lawyer in America. The Bentley will be parked in my four-car garage, with my guard dog watching. We will also have the golden retriever in the house for the kids to play with. That is how most people picture themselves twenty years down the road. I am becoming a man and I know it is time to start planning for the future. As far as education, I have been accepted to the University of Central Florida so I plan to get my Bachelors Degree from there. My education is essential so I plan on going to a school for graduate studies. Since I have not chosen a major yet I will just use engineering as my field of choice. In college I plan to meet my future wife. In my mind she is seen as a five foot five goddess. She will be the modern day Halle Barry, considering the fact that she will be old by that time. With her education she will be making more money than me, and also supporting me. I know this is not how the typical man is supposed to think, but in twenty years the times will change. I predict this because over the years womenââ¬â¢s rights have been on the rise. Women have come from the point of not being able to vote to running major corporations. Speaking of running corporations, which will be my wife. The modern Renaissance woman. When I turn thirty-five is when I want to start thinking about kids. I plan to have three kids two boys and one girl. I will need two boys to protect my daughter from all the guys that are like I was when I was in school. Since I did not get to live out my dream of being a professional athlete, at least one of my kids will have to make it as a professional athlete. The one with the most potential is the one that I will train with. No one can predict how their life will be twenty years from now,
